Dusters

Guys, I just ordered my first duster.
I've been wanting one for years as I think that a duster is more functional for long rides than your typical leather biker jacket.
The one I liked I ordered from a company down under where they still have lots of working ranches with ridden horses.
The guy I talked to said that he sells as much of these to "Harley riders" as he does to horse riding cowboys.
It's 16 ounce oilskin that he says will breathe but keep you dry in rain or snow.
It comes with a snap in fleece vest for cold times and it has leg snaps to keep it from flying when your riding.
The cool thing is that to clean it, you just hang it outside and spray it with water... my kind of cleaning.
With a duster, I figure the jacket and the chaps can stay at home.
whaddya think?

Duster came in; man, it's heavy.
I can see why it keeps you dry and warm.
Shuts out wind real nice also.
cool..

Got back from run.
The Duster was perfect on the way up to Reno. No cold or wind bothered.
Packed it away on the way back due to the heat.
I like this thing and will use it often this winter.
