media coverage for NRR events and rides

Yes Mike, we all need to do our part. Right now Doc & Krickett from AL and there kicking everyones ass in this. Then again Krickett does write for a few mags. But all these other chapter should try and help. But hell, we only have a hand full of people in this forum.

I would say right now we have gotten media coverage in AL and last year in NC a few time in some small biker mags.
I have a local paper from up north that someone sent me that had NRR in it. (thanks to whoever this was, I can't remember right now)

We have a long way to go. We (you) need to light a fire under some peoples ass.

Lets come up with some NRR pieces for bikes, like a cleaner, or derby cover kind of shit.
Threads are nice but, some hot bike pieces will take off and get us known.

I have thought about stuff like that but have not looked into who is the best producer of these things. Ofcourse this is more money for me to invest, but that is the gane I am in with NRR.

Do you know os a good custom producer of stuff like this?

There is no best producer of pieces.
You want good chrome, go out of country.
You want good castings, go out of country.
You want good pricing, go out of country.
Start small, like a cam cover or a derby cover maybe.

hello every one just my view when you do some one good the news will be there if you let them no about it.in maine we can get alot of news coverage if we need to but right now we are still a small chapter some day we hope to be in the news.and when we get there we will put it here for all to see.hope to read more about nrr in the news.I was thinking if we get mike elected as president of the united states;we would be in the news;ok just a thought.

OK guys, And Mike..........I will start calling the local paper here in durham and, I WILL NOT STOP on this subject. I will break my back to get the same reporter, for every ride. I feel that once I let them know what and when we are doing the rides for charity's they will see what good we do.

For example; We the bikers set the rides and what charity's.
We the bikers do all the leg work....
We the bikers get people to donate, monies, and other stuff
We the bikers pay to ride in these rides
We the bikers must get the local papers involed
We the bikers must start now to get the coverage that we need

I been working this NRR for years and years. As far as getting people to be active in the forum. I don't know how to achieve this. None of the people I ride with use the forum. (sorry, one does = Mike) but besides that they really just are not into the forum thing. I see other forums that have heavy traffic. This is an area that I am not much help.

Maybe you could send out an email in the world wide chapter and nicely tell people about the forum. I think thay probabaly get tired of emails from me.
